Are you trying to get rid of pop ups ? If so, the google toolbar (available from www.google.co.uk) will do that, that's what I use. I am sure there are loads of other free popup blockers too - just do a search in google.

Spiky, there all teen and sex chat rooms and there deffo not been used by me. I've gone into tools > internet options > security > restricted sites, but they still seem to work

Greg, I've got endpopups which has always worked but just lately they seem to be coming through thick and fast

Nath, I assume you are using I.Explorer. Click on the "view" menu option, then toolbars. Is the google entry ticked in the menu ? If not, tick it and it should appear (may need to reload IE).
If it doesn't appear, download it again (may take a while if you're downloading loadsa p*** for your nephew at the same time though ).

Net Nanny is a well known piece of s/w for this, anything that does parental control should do. Can't recommend since my cats don't use the PC and I don't mind what the wife gets up to
