Went down to collect my rs on sat, on the way back the bloody trailer fish tailed and i ended up rolling the discovery i was borrowing off a friend that was pulling it, fortunately i had my seat belt on, and am only cut to ribbons with a few bruises and no-one else was involved.

unfortunately i was only third party on the disco so i'm gonna have to find a large amount of money to replace my mates car, he's ok about it but i might not be on line quite so much for obvious reasons, like i don't have enough problems with the bills etc already, this comes along.

my rs appears to only have a bent rear beam when the ratchet strap was holding the back wheels down from where the trailer got thrown off the toe ball, but don't see me replacing that any time soon.

Same thing very nearlly happened to me was coming back from abberdean with a disco and two axle trailer with me fiesta track car on. Thing started to snake at the smallest of bumps, then about ten mins from home a merc sprinter went past us (were doing 50) he passed at about 100mph . We started snaking tried to power out of it but it had no guts left both of us had our arms braced and locked on the steering wheel, just got it back after i seen my car bouncing on the trailer.

bad luck there mate, how much is the disco worth and is it worth getting hold of another broken one and swapping the unbroken bits over?
you might be able to get a non runner from ebay for a few quid

Bummer .

But borrowing other peoples cars is always asking for trouble. Won't drive anyone elses car unless its a shed or I am doing the owner a favour in which case I make it quite clear that if anything happens to it then I won't be paying for it.
