Default factory allarms(help needed)

Thankfully not the cossie but ,
The allarm on my Frontera keeps going off all bloody nightt and i cant see why.
I went out and locked the doors with the Key thinking the allarm would be deactivated but it wasnt ,i had to leave the thing open all night .
I cant see why it would be going off

Any suggestions or advice appreciated

standard alarm system i assume? if it's the same as the astra and zafiria which i'm guessing it probably is then it'll most likely be the siren at fault, it uses rechargeable batteries inside, after a while the batteries die which causes he alarm to go off at random.
