Default sound deadening, the horrible sticky stuff on fords

anyone know where i can get the sound deadening that you have to heat up to get off the floorpan on fords

ive had to rip all my stuff out to do welding and will need to replace it all once its done

will need enough to do a complete sierra

carnt seem to find any or even a good alternative

any ideas

i used brown bread sound deadening, after i welded my floor

10 quid for a 2x1 metre roll

2 rolls did the whole floor on the escort

i wasa thinking of that brown bread stuff

but i need this stuff first as its kinda like a seal over the grils in the floor pan from chassis legs etc

iwant the whole car doing but may just get this studd for the main bits then that brown bread stuff

i will be fitting a system aswell so dont want any vibrations either

dont foget to buy brushable seam sealer. apply before painting the inside

thats already been done on the inside of the ca every joint has been done so far as the shell has been sticth welded

just underneath im sorting out now

then 2 arches and sills and ive finished welding

should of scrapped the thing
