One of my mates has 306 and when he locks it via remote central locking it just opens again could it just be a sticky motor ??

Loom between door and car bodys get stretched and short out or somet along those lines because the doors swing so far.
Replacement loom section is available I believe.
Door off job is the easiest way to do it.
Do some google searchs or searchs on the 306 forum.

it's a very common problem, the only trouble with replacment looms is the colours aren't the same as original wiring so you really have to know what you are doing when wiring it up. Best option is to solder up the broken wires.

We have had a few in at work over the past few months (about 5) all with the same problem and they all turned out to be the alarm control (or multifunction control box.. i forget) underneath the drivers seat
