Stupid place to stand, and you could say he was a knob for driving off, but its not as though its a hit and run and he was escaping...
What could the driver have done at the scene?
IIRC Colin McRae had a speccy on the bonnet of his Focus once. At least he had the manners to only use part throttle until the guy had fallen off

unfortunatly u get a few twits at rallys that stand on the outsie off corners 
but the cont drivin should have got out to see if every one was alright 
i was at a rally couple o weeks ago were there was some twat wi two little kids wi him on the outside of a tight corner he soon moved when a fist sized stone nailed him in the chest
