Default bodging thread... exhuast blow

ok heres the background, i have a new pukka S/S exhaust waiting to fit, but it only fits the turbo XR4s not the NASP ones...

i have a ickle tiny blow in my shitty standard 20year old exhaust thats on the car...

its only gotta stay on there for a few weeks so im either gonna leave it blowing, or bodge it up somehow... pointless spending money on it if im gonna swap it very soon

so wot y recon... i cant use one of those clamp things coz its where the pipe goes into one of the boxes... cant be arsed to weld it (well, get a mate to weld it... lol) so i assume pumping the mofo full of paste shit's the best option? but whats to stop it blowing all the paste out 5mins down the road? any ideas for getting it to hold? also what about using gaffertape?

its only gotta last a few weeks (n dont matter if i gotta do it a few times anyway) so not after anything sturdy

ideas? nomatter how stupid they may seem?

obtain one beer can.. and 2/3 jubilee clips...
Cut beer can so you are left with a flat piece of metal..
Wrap this around the blowing section of the exhaust (im assuming it isnt RIGHT on the join ) then do up the 2/3 jubliee clips arround the beer can.. hey presto fixed

oooo i got an idea!!!!
Get some filler... and some exhaust wrap... wedge a load of filler over the hole... (gaffertape if necessary to hold in place ).. wrap a small piece of exhaust wrap arround the filler to hold it in place

Seriously though you could do a semi profesional bodge and buy some 'exhaust tape' its like the paste but actaully wraps arround the exhaust so it doesnt fall off as soon as you go over a bump
