Default Ford Finis Codes

My cousin has bought a job lot of brand new Ford parts from a garage clearance and was wondering how to identify what model they are for.Is there a website that can be used to identify the finis codes which are on most of the items/boxes.Some of the parts must be 20+ years old - there is even Cortina parts brand new never out of the box.

the later bits would be easy to identify on micro cat but most of the older parts will be harder as you will need an older system.

Someone with a Microcat CD might be able to help you. Not sure about a website though.

Have just been helping him sort through it all there was two van loads and hes got another one with body panels coming there are hundreds if not thousands of items. Most are from the 80s and 90s by the dates on the labels. Were going to try and sell them on ebay but would probably be easier to sell the lot as a whole.I have never seen so many parts there is every parts you can think of still in its original box.Is there anyone that deals in old Ford parts.

www.fordpartsuk.com might be interested.

A post on here or the RSOC may lead to a lot of interest, especially if your mate has managed to get hold of some of the rarer parts.

i've done loads of clearance stuff & its not worth a lot, for a company its a lot of effort to sort all the stuff into whats good, whats not & then locating & storing it all.
