As title. Its a standard ford 88 degree one.

You have to boil it up from cold for it to open though lol I thouhgt i had a few dud ones just dropping them in a cup off boiling water

Thats what i been thinking but boiled it in a pan and hey presto, one opening thermostat.

I test them by heating water and monitoring temperature. As it increases, the thermostat should start opening as close to the temperature that is stamped on it as possible.
