Start practising ur take offs and dont just sit there and spin on the line like a tit ..................

get that down to a t and at least u have a better chance ,id like to think u will pull it off further up the rev range typical cossie style tho

Owners of Evos need deep pockets, if he has these, then worry, if not, say to him "hasta la vista" baby* .

*Providing you know how to launch your car .

if you can get off the line with out too much fuss you should be in with a chance as he will have less power atw due to higher transmission losses but in turn more grip
dont play fair and bolt on some slicks and pray your diff wants to stay together and then you should be meeting him with a quicker timing ticket

They grip like an absolute bastard, can't ever remember properly losing grip in mine although it was only 260bhp......

Thing is though it will probably break down on the way to santa pod so now worries lol!!

Seriously though i think it would be pretty close, grale might just shade it all things being even (which they never are i.e. driver)..... it'll come down to how well you both launch.

My brother used to run a Dealer Edition Evo which was the last of the Lancia integrale evo's and it was an awesome car, had so much grip it was unreal.... I would personally own one today if I could afford to run it.

Unless its a top speed race, I would put my money on the Lancia

Get your launch down to a tee Paul and you should be in with a good chance. My mate has one running 340bhp and my Worth is similar spec to yours but without the 500 cooler, he reckons mine feels far faster in a straight line than the Grale. We have never raced each other to find out so I we cant be sure. One thing I do know is the amount of grip these thing have is unreal, if you beat him in a straight line then you will have no chance on the bends, providing he can drive it properly. Good luck matey, let us know how you do and get someone to video it and stick it on here.

the 4wd system has the advantage of the 2wd anyway of the line but up might just pip past him at the end of the run

both cars should still do low 13 with your spec and the evo been 4wd with less power

you will suffer lower down with grip , he will gain grip of the line , so should be pretty even i still think you will have him

what bhp is the grale ?

I would think that the cossie would 'feel' quicker however I would expect the results of a thrash to favour the Lancia
