Default Coil pack driver and rev counter.

Just recently had the new coil pack driver fitted to my ecu ( updated version ) and now the SPA rev counter reads half speed is there a cure apart from changing the incriments on my rev counter

Set it to 2 cylinder if it has that option.

Stack is capable of this, so I'm sure the SPA should be .

Karl told me about this and im baffled, i dont see how it can drive a normal counter fine, proving its sending out the correct amount of pulses, yet drive an SPA at half speed.

That said, most aftermarket Tach's can drive from the ignition amplifier direct as a 2cyl config with no problems, so check the instructions.

Sounds like the rev counter is configured wrongly or wired wrongly
for the current configuration.

How is the rev counter wired ?

What is its configuration ? (number of cylinders, signal input type etc.)
