Turbo ST200?
I`m just wondering if anyone has done a turbo conversion for their ST200?
Does anyone have any info regarding whats involved in the conversion, and roughly how much would i be looking at?
Cheers for any help....

PassionFord Post Whore!!
the first noble engines used the v6 mondeo lumps for their kit cars,
then they twin turbo'd the st24 engines for the 1st M series cars, based on the st24 but with one off custom heads and obviously uprated everything else
then they moved on to the st200 engines etc...
iv heard a Noble and they sound awesome idling and at full chat
worth doing but it will cost a few kwhats the spec of the rods and crank? u maybe able to lower the compression on the pistons then use suitable managment
use a smallish turbo like a gt28 and im sure with a good map you will get very good gains from relatavily low boost

SVE Autocraft in Sailsbury do a pro charger conversion but you are looking at 5k and then you need suspension, brakes, quaife diff etc. Vortech did a kit also but discontinued it because it had a 100% shaft failure rate.
There was a company in the USA called Arizona Dyno Chip selling a single turbo conversion but it was on hold for more development. Have a look at www.contour.org
I looked at this with my st24 but just bought an escort cossie in the end coz it worked out far cheaper.
