Default Ford Puma - Whats These Things For?

Quick question about the wife's puma....

In the back on the panels either side of the bench seat, near the rear speakers, there is a slot on each side (meaning one on drivers side, one on passenger side), about the size of a coin slot for a 10p piece.....it's got a grey plastic circular surround going round it

what the fuckin hell are they? they look standard fit to me. fancy child seat fixings or summat?

will try get some pics tomorrow if nobody knows

Sounds like the cut outs to plug the seat belt buckles in when you fold the seats forward.

Got one for the Mrs in January, not as fast as the Bravo HGT she had before...but the clutch and gearbox work in the puma so that's a bonus, as do all the electricals

black 02 plater with the multi spoke alloys, 28k on the clock, absolute minter

They are cracking cars and they aren't just for girls For a standard car the handling is amazing, mine was a company car and it was so much fun and did everything it was meant to. I wish it hadn't gone back and I still want another.

That's what I had and mine was the 2000 model but it could have used at least 150bhp because the chassis was that good

Got 135bhp to play with mine at the min (got a 4-2-1, sports cat, cat back, and a K&N), yeah the chassis should be good for 150, think it might start to torque steer with any more though.

I'm running double that power through my T/C'd 1.7, chassis is more than happy (though I do have a cage and different suspension setup), minimal torque steer as well
