you wouldn't sell the cossie for one?

is there much difference between the standard one n the M-tech sport one? or is it just a case of a body kit?

NO WAY..my cossie is miles better for all round fun.granted it isnt convertible and the only real difference is the kit..mine was a 325, leathers, the lot but it was auto so only good for posing with the roof down

Why sell the Cossie if you know youre gonna end up with one again in the future
And not for an E30 ,move up the ladder not down it ,is there no way you can buy one without selling the Cos

dam fine cars...i had a sport when they were still sellling them on the bmw forecourts...loved every bit of it...
if you go down the ave of having the suspension done (hartge / ac schnitzer) def worth it as it will trasnform ya car..especially the hartge , but they dont come cheap.
just make sure that it is a sport and not a 325 with a kit ..as the gearbox is different.

Ive been thinking bout one of these for an everyday/weather car, but wouldnt get rid of the worth for one though If got one you'd have to rack some mint split rims on it

If you buy a coupe then make sure its the Sports version and Motorsport for the convertible. You gotta love em

Personally if i get another one i'd make sure its a convertible with the m-tec 2 kit, lsd and manual

Not many differences.

Different gearbox I.e gear ratios.
Seats.
M-tech 2 kit.
Black healining.
OBC.
Steering wheel.

Thats about it really. But you could get most of these on a normal E30 but these came as standard.

I've just brought a 325i E30 Tourer to replace the S1, and its the best thing I've brought in ages. The sound of the straight six is tremendous and it pulls like a train all the way to the red line. Admittedly it doesn't have the power surge of my S1 but it's still top fun in different way.

Shame the S1 has to go but unless I win or get given some big money then it's not coming down under with us when we move.

The steering is incredibly slow on them though esp if you've driven a Cosworth - you can put an E36/Z3 rack on which at least means you don't get over 4 turns lock to lock
