having problems with a 1.8 zvh engine in my s2, fitted a new bottom end that had the pistons skimmed apparantly to lower the compression ratio, rebuilt it back up using a felpro head gasket and a different turbo, now it seams that after about 10 -15mins out on the road is really starts overheating badley- drive it off boost and its ok, checked all the cooling system, alloy rad and front mount cooler and all seams ok, but its running 14.5 psi boost- might be a bit high, any help much appreciated

it sounds like either the ignition timing is massively retarded (have you had it set up?) or possibly your radiator is restricted by the intercooler ?
or maybe its just not big enough anymore.
I have tuned 1800 zvh engines with no overheating problems.
