Hi Paul, Next time just put down item advertised elsewhere and auction can be ended at anytime if sold. Or some shite to that effect. Often seen that posted.
I'm still drivin Shaun's Escy i brought through you 2 years back. Do you have any mint front spoiler/splitters?

Just get someone you trust to bid on it for £5 squillion.

Some people get the hump over this [shill bidding] but I say fuck 'em, I do it all the time in real auctions!

you can end it right down to the last second by selling to the current highest bidder, just get your man who wants it to bid twice then end it to him, simple, takes about 20 seconds as well, otherwise its 12 HOURS ,not 24,why put advice up to someone if you dont know its correct?

ebay buyers are very canny these days - just because an item is miles away from the price you want with only a few hours to go dont assume it wont go for big bucks at the close.

Most seasoned buyers now wait until the last few seconds to bid.

Just put a few low priced items from other sellers in your watched items list then check them again after the auction has finished you will be amazed how they get bid right up in the last few seconds

The days of ebay bargains are few and far between these days - unless the item is readily available it will sell for decent money

If you haven't got what you wanted, then you should have put a reserve on it, or a buy it now like I do.

Pulling an item just cos it didn't make what you wanted, or you want to sell it outright to someone else away from ebay is a bit out of order if you ask me - imagine how you'd feel if the shoe was on the other foot.....

Plus, I thought all ebay sellers were bedroom traders anyway?

I didnt want to pull it because it didnt reach what i wanted simply because i always have a starting price of the lowest i will take ,,or i put a reserve

The problem i had was a very very regular user on here wanted somthing i had on e/bay and hadnt got any bids ,,but sadly there was less than 12 hours left

The items sold today anyway to the highest bidders
