hi there new to the forum. here goes.started in scotland 90 mile north of carlise with a mint escort cossie arrived in preston and done a px for a even better escort cossie track car,some of you might know it.done all the checks what a car done the deal headed for gods country at amere 80mph,no more 60mile from home disaster.head gasket no more,bad knock from the bottom end had to get off the motorway.all in the space of 6hrs but i know i will have to grin and bare it.on a closer inspection the next day by a.g.m the news was not good a new head gasket,new shells,new oil pump.skimmed head and block various other bits and bobs and just for good measure a recon turbo.the joys,but looking forward to the reinCARnation of what will be a great motor. p.s am gutted.

can you not get in touch with the seller and get money off him.

 

dont get me wrong i would love to rip his head off but what can be done.a small price to pay for a better car i think.
