Good luck with this mate, I hope they don;t come down on you unreasonably hard. I didn't do too bad for 80 in a 40, I got £160 fine plus 14 days ban and no points.

Well......after the hearing getting ajourned about 5 times for varying reasons - trial date was set for Thursday 8th November in Caerphilly Magistrates Court at 2PM which I must admit I am not looking forward to........
......but I've got no need to worry anymore as the whole case has now been DROPPED due to lack of evidence as they only had the photo of the bumper, no proof who was driving, no proof of calibration for the camera etc etc!!!

its very rare if someone fights speed camera's that they can hold the conviction to trial,
the notice of prosecution has to be sent within 14days, and i see urs was sent with one day spare, :s
i got caught at 139mph on a 60 bclass road
ive been banned for 6months, the reason i got so little a ban was that in the police statement they said they followed me for 5 1/2 miles at a constant 80mph,
so i brought up the argument in court that they endangered lives as much as i did due to the fact i was 20mph over the limit and they didnt stop me
so charge was dropped from dangerous driving to careless driving,
if i had a decent solicitor or the time to prepare i reckon i could of got this dropped also, but i decided to plead guilty and walk for a while,
im too unfit nowadays, maybe this will sort me out

soory to hear this but i recon you will defo have to go to court that wont be a fixed penlty ....lol..
i dont know what your going to do, if you admit it just say your are very and you need your licence for work as your self employed
they will hit you with a fine i dont think they will ban you tho
just kiss ass you will be ok call them all the coonts under the sun after that
I got caught with gav in the wrc foucs tdi going to croft 2yrs ago wa s doing 97 mph , i got a 140 fine sp70 on my licence with 4 points
