Well......thats me buggered!!!!! UPDATED - 06/11!!!
Hand on heart I can safely say I really didnt think I was doing anymore than 95mph when I got clocked by the van!!!

Unlucky.
I would do a bit of research though as more than likely you can (as mentioned) get off quite lightly.
That is ofcourse if you haven't got a shed load more of those coming from further down the road

I've got my mate whos a crime solicitor on the case....first stop is get the proof off them!!
I knew I'd been done as I saw the van, I really thought I was doing about 95mph....obviously 14yr old Renault speedo's arent that accurate!!
Points, fines, courses I can handle, a ban I really cant as I'm self employed & have got clients all round the area and in other parts of the country.
No-one but myself to blame but I'll have everything crossed in the meantime!!!

Things they could do....
a.) Dry anally rape me (tempting to say the least!)
b.) Ban me for x months
c.) Points & a hefty fine
d.) Slap me on the wrist & tell me I've been a very naughty boy & not to do it again
e.) Loose the photographic evidence & let me off scot free
f.) Admit that the camera hadnt been calibrated since the year 2000
I'd say options a. d. e. & f. are mostly likely not to happen..... b. probably is going to happen & c. I will be thankful for if it does happen!!!

alot may depend on any previous convictions for speeding, if its your first it may not be ban time, just a big fine.... at least the jails are full, so your not going down

Lee you will be fine, they will take one look at the picture and say that a clapped out old piece of french shite has no chance of ever doing a ton so then scrap your letter and then proceed to get there camera calibrated

get that save your license thing of ebay theres loads of usefull shit in that might help i had it downloaded but just formated my comp and dint save it or i would have sent it you good luck m8 let us know how you get on
