The hub face is the same (the circular bit with the studs in) but the hub carrier is definately different to all other sierras even the XR4x4. It is however, the same as the escort cosworth I believe. Hope this helps.

Escort and Sierra Cosworth 4x4 models share the same hubs

even on XR4x4 late and early hubs varied. The caliper lug off changed, not much only talking a few mm but the later cars also had a different offset disc which I think is related.

I've swapped hubs on mine that has moved the caliper position slightly. either the DOHC ones are different or they change on a particular year (possibly 92)

The DOHC 4x4 uses a different knuckle to the others. A DOHC has a 53mm deep disc, the 2.9 a 58mm disc same as 2wd. The Cossie 4x4 knuckle is different to all the others, due to using a different caliper to run 278mm discs.

All 4x4 cars run different flanges, due to the need for a hole for the driveshaft. 4x4 knuckles are different to 2wd ones as the hole where the tca balljoint goes through is a different diameter as well, to avoid people trying to fit the wrong type.

The hub - as in the round bit with the 4 studs sticking out, is the same on all 4x4 versions of Sierra plus the Escort cosworth

The front bearing carrier though (also known as the knuckle) is different - as the steering arm and brake bracket elements are at different points on non cosworth versions

Hope that clears things up

Ignore the 5 studs and the wideangle lens view making them look bent

Is this one a 2wd front hub?

And is this a 4x4 rear hub

That last photo isn't a 4x4 rear hub as it is 5 stud so most likely from a granada.

He was saying to ignore the fact there are 5 studs. It was more about whether the "design" is right, i.e. middle part of the flanges.

A 4x4 hub (upright) is unique, but u can fit a xr4x4 one with brakes and shafts to give 10mm wider track, but single pot caliper and smaller discs

Why the interest in them now?
Can't say I've ever been asked for them before?
