ok i know its not a ford but i aint joining no vauxhall site

my old mans just boutgh a r plate lwb frontera 2.3 tds 4x4

loves it to bits , but it dnt seem to be pulling through the revs well

seems to hold bk at 2000 rpm and is eating lots of fuel

if u feather the throttle it accelarates but if u got to give it some it just bogs down and seems to choke itself ??

and only seems to top out at 65-70 and thats building it up to there ?

motors done bout 130 k but fires first time and had no other troubles but this ?

ohh and just had a new turbo fitted


anyone got any ideas ??

IIRC the diesel pumps on those are prone to failure, expensive if that is the case though

I dont know of a decent vauxhall site for diesels to ask on im afraid

u reckon thats the fault chip ?

is there anyway i can test it ?

someone was saying it could one of the sensors maf or something ? idk ?
