Default Just wondering?

What would it do if you removed the catalytic convertor from your ERST 2?

My mate says the exhaust will sound deeper and maybe add a few bhp. And it perfectly legal on cars that were made before 1992.

Cheers.

no RSTurbo has a catolitic convertor! it's just a centre box on the exhaust, removing it will make it louder!

will sound louder, dunno bout deeper aye, cos the box u removing is a silencer. performance, well, dunno bout bhp but it wuld give less backpressure (which i reckon is a good thing) prob give u a slight increase, nothing noticeable really. what exhaust do u have? if its a scorpion your wasting your time, magnex or mongoose are the ones to have!
