how do i tell 4x4 pistons from 2wd?

Default how do i tell 4x4 pistons from 2wd?

as above really, just got a set off ebay, but want to make sure they're the right thing before i give feedback

isnt the pin offset on 4x4 pistons

the 4x4 has a bigger bowl on the top.....post a pic up..

if you look at it from above,there's a circle in the centre of the piston ( the base of the 'bowl') 2wd is about 45mm i 'think' from memory,4x4 is bigger

yep...they be 4x4

2wd are like this (note these have had a fair bit skimmed off the top which is why they look defferent)

those appear to be 4x4

2wd pistons have drilled holes right through them under the lower ring to feed oil from the oil pump spray bar where as the 4x4 have notches which do not go right through the piston as can be seen in the pic

just out of curiosity, does anybody know the angle that the cutouts need to be at? just to save me measuring it!

a 2wd piston next to my machined down 4wd piston in block.....
