You're no longer interested in boy racering etc, spending money on doing up cars and generally want to be a bit more sensible.

It has to be quickish, modernish, stylish but still "young" enough to not suggest you're old man!

What would you go for?

My Nissan Almera - W reg, 50k, 1 woman owner since new, 4 new tyres, 1.5L so 110 quid a year road tax and can lift off oversteer nicely

Now got 61K on it and spart from a siezed caliper never puts foot wrong even though i rag it to death every day!

Dull motoring really but a snip at 2 grand

996 or E46 M3

on a lower budget no matter what Dave says E36 M3 do still have some class and are fast, reliable, cheap to run now and good looking and practical

what part of stylish etc did you fail to understand?

And the guy who mentioned the cossie!!! (not Stav cos he was taking the piss blatently ) I said no cossies!

Budget, depends.. circa £6k i would guess when the house sells.

Or maybe a nice E30 325i sport.
