Default Daft Defi question!

My 3 door has defis fitted (not by me)

they work fine and are wired up correctly but they only illuminate when the lights are on. They are still working with the lights off but you can barely see them at all cos they are black?

is the only solution to wire the illumination wire straight to ignition feed?

lol.
so what's the answer then?

It only looks like this when the lights are on and I'd look a real tool having the lights on in the middle of the day!

Ah!! you are spot on - they are plugged into output 1!!

I'll try that tomorrow.

Cheers

also the oil pressure gauge isnt wired up yet - the sender isnt fitted yet...

which brings me to my next question!! where is the sender on a 3dr and is the new sensor a direct replacement?
