Got my new coolant temp sensor, went to fit it and found the reason for the poor starting, over fueling etc, the existing fuxking sensor was unplugged
plugged it in and everythings 100%

why would you unplug a sensor?

The clip on the plug is probably knackered from someone pulling the head off and forgetting to unplug it first Try seeing if it just falls off...

That's a result Where is the sensor on a cossie engine? Mine overfuels from cold too, it's just a misfire on mine 'til it clears though.

in the most awkward place ever,even harder on 4x4 too from memory

it's at the very back of the cylinder head,facing the passenger side inner arch area

Lucky mine's a 2 wheel drive then I'll check mine too because I have suspected that might be what causes mine to overfuel because my emissions are very very high.

maybe it was tugged when an oil filter or somin was cahnged?

at least the probs fixed and it didnt cost an arm and a leg
