From 1:19 to 2:10 reminded me of happy hardcore of '95/'96, the beginning was more modern D+B sounding to me. Is there anymore to it?

'Gone all trancey' lol!- its going from strength to strength! Next Gen are publishing some cracking tracks at the moment, Evolution, Blatant Beats, Warped Science and even Quosh - to say things have gone all freeform and trancey is way off base - have you heard the latest dougal and gammer, scott brown, breeze and styles stuff?

The yanks are getting right into the hardcore at the moment and its doing well in canada and japan too - things are set to get pretty mad in '05.

I personally dont like the new hardcore sound - appart from a lot of breakbeat stuff being made by Luna-C and co.

The freeform stuff is ok - but only if its proper full on hard stuff! Personally the rest of it i think is pretty plain.

I think they should reopen "Club Labrynth!"

You're not wrong there!

Personally I always liked the non-vocal stuff.

I think some of the cheesy rip offs gave the hardcore scene very little credibility - a real shame, when there were some talented producers out there.

Personal favourites always came from a little further up north........ Always a fan of Scott Brown, Q-Tex....... much harder, verging towards original techno stuff.

Never liked the middle ground so much. Out and out breakbeat, or harder techno style stuff. The record collection is EXTENSIVE!

Do you remember that track which Easygroove used to play - was a breakbeat tune with Jaws samples all the way through it - quality stuff. Ellis Dee was a shit hot dj around 92 also.
