Top Ten 1/4 Mile YB Cosworths....
After reading the other thread about top speed, I decided to see what was the top ten 1/4 mile times. 
Anyone ever done 9 seconds?

there is a couple of 9 sec road legal cosworths out side of the uk, greece and maybe malta theres one in denmark thats not far off 9's. Quickest over here is still kev sharps old one from a few years back where it doe a 10.3 at crail.

JT went 9.40s in a yb powered 105e anglia,he then went 7.80s with the engine in a probe.
Wayne Saunders is the fastest guy in the uk with a 7.6 i think i know he car went 7.40s in the states,but that was with a BDT.That was in the probe then the focus.
Theres Gino who drives a mk1 escort that has run mid to low 9s yb powered too.
All these car are tube chassis cars tho.

Oh i did see a stock floor plan mk1 escort with a bolt in roll cage run 8.67 in malta.........couldn't believe what i was seeing.
Again yb powered backed up by a 5 speed airshift liberty trans.
SHOCKING.
