Anyone using xbox360 as Media Center Extender?
if so... WHERE'S THE F**KING VOLUME CONTROL 
i think it's BRILLIANT, and im using it as my TV at the moment (xbox 360 linked to 21" LCD monitor and creative speakers) with the source at my windows vista ultimate PC with a digi-tv card
oh, and WHY DOES IT ONLY PLAY MICROSOFT FORMAT VIDEO/AUDIO
WHY NOT ALLOW DIVX SUPPORT? cnuts

i use my 360 for viewing media wireless from my pc, mine wont let me watch video/audio unless its microsoft format either. as far as the volume, i dont know, i bought a media remote, and that has a volume control on it.

it's a Pinnacle 310i (pinnacle hybrid pro pci)
it's a dual analog/digital so you can still connect analog devices to (like VCRs and Playstations

Can anyone help me? Im having trouble setting up an Xbox360 on Xbox live!! Plugged it all in via a PC and cant get it to connect, the LAN connection on the PC says "Limited or NO Connection" 
Not had any experience with the 360 so im a bit in the dark!

Pluged the ethernet cable into the network card on the pc. As said i have not done this before and am trying to help a friend, sounds like they need to buy more equipment! The PC has an external DSL modem and i just assumed the Xbox would run off the LAN! I have limited knowledge on the subject hence my post...

Guess not then..... If anyone reads any of the posts about and could give me any advice it would be much appreciated! Sounds like im just being stupid and trying to achieve the impossible but would be helpful if someone could give some advice as the Xbox website isnt exactly overflowing with relevant support..

You need to get a lan hub, plugging in to the pc network port wont help.
Plug the modem into the hub and then from the hub feed off to the PC and Xbox
It will depend if his modem has an ethernet port though..

one for the pc and i plug my 360 in the second one
i guess you need a 2 hole jobby mate ..
most prob im wrong..
but mine worked first time when i plugged it in
which unusual for my luck ..GOD must have been getting a blowjob @ the time ...
