I spent ages on it as well although the pics on my place were pretty old .. maybe 5-6 years ago ... I could still make out the cars on the not-yet-made-then driveway

Great conversation piece as well ..even better if you get boring people round the house as you can drop into the conversation about their house numerous times and not feel bad about dropping them a hint to go visit it, to see if its changed much

Its very cool. Doesn't show any cars on my drive so its atleast 3 years out of date.

Is the business version live ?

Would be awesome if you could actually zoom right in clearly

have a look at http://local.live.com/ its better than google earth for the uk, and in some areas it goes in vary close, and you can look from 4 different directions if it goes in really close. my area is only about 6 months out of date and you can clearly see what make of car is on my drive.

Have you tried clicking the 3D button...

I was quite unimpressed untill I did- when you rotate through N S E W you can see on my car is 3 cars. which is sometime in the last 3 years- google earth is 6 or 7 years for my house.

the 928 is owned by a friend now, and its been supercharged, it is a 928GT, all GT's were manual, the standard S4 of the time was auto, but yes the manuals are very rear 1 in 14 928's were manual, i will get another soon

as for local live, this is how close it gets of my area, and is less than 6 months old.

I cant work out how to use the thing, seems pretty slow on my pc, may need to upgrade the graphic card. How can I get to a specific place??
the search option just seems to find buisness names and not city names.
