who should say sorry first?
junior did a spectaular puke all over the sofa, so we removed the covers and, while we were removing the cover for one, she decided that they would all do with a wash at the same time
so cue loads of covers coming off
the sofas have a metal backing frame, and you can see where this is going now can't you
junior, on the sofa, has lent back and bashed his head, not heavily, but enough to give him a bit of a start, against one of the metal bars and has started bawling
now, obviously this is my fault as i was underneath a bit of the sofa at the time watching him while the mrs was sitting next to him watching me doing all the work
so he's crying his eyes out and i've picked him up, but no, he wants to go to mum, but mum's not taking him because "it's your fault so you look after him"
and then it all went a bit angry
so, this morning she's like nothings happened at all, but i'm still pissed off, so should i make the first move or should she? or has she already made the first move and hr being a woman and all that has made it so subtly that me, being a bloke, can't understand what she is upposed to have done?

Sorry to say mate but give in and make the first move
As im sure you will find out women are always right when it comes to stupid little arguments like this and as said above can make mountains out of molehills !!!
I've learnt through married life that its easier just to give in and admit defeat than make the situation worse, which usually happens 9 times out of 10 !!
Women can easily forget about minor arguments and move on quickly but us men hold that negative thoughts for to long and only makes the situation worse for both parties

Is this a serious thread? Surely people don't argue over such silly things?
There are far more serious things to deal with in life, i would just forget it if i was you and give your wife and child a big hug

Fuck apologising. Just get on with your life and don't say anything about it unless she does. If she was sat there on her arse watching you, why can't she have been keeping any eye on junior?
Maybe I'm just a cunt but I have my own rules that I live by and some childish petty arguement about trivial shit doesn't get any attantion from me. Probably one reason why my ex used to get so wound up.

Go out and get a drink, watch Gillette Soccer Saturday down pub, get a kebab come home at Midnight and then say your sorry.
make sure you enjoy yourself first as she'll make your life hell for the next few days.
That's how I deal with her

I can't believe that would be the root of an argument and that you'd remember it overnight?! Moreso that you'd go to bed without sorting out this life changing problem
Life's too short to argue about sofas that aren't even broken and kids who aren't even hurt.
Say sorry yourself if anybody has to. If you ask her to say sorry and she can't remember the argument as it was that trivial you'll then be branded an overreacting bastard.

well, one night ignoring her (i went out last night and came home to brush my teeth before going to work) and one day being at work till about 6.30 this evening (working, visiting mates far far away, keeping out of the way, going to see some relatives and even thinking of spending the night) later and it's like nothings ever happened
she's fussing as normal so i won't mention anything
i may venture an apology later on tonight but if i'm posting again then it's obviously not gone down too well
the ladies here seem to understand whats going on in her head, and the blokes seem to know whats going on in mine, but i think saying sorry to her even though there's nothing i should be saying sorry for (but i won't mention it to her) is worth a nice comfy bed and not a cold bumpy van seat

i'm trying to avoid talking to her, but she still put me dinner on the table as soon as i was through the door and waited for me to finish before she cleaned the table etc
perhaps thats her way of saying sorry?
all i know is that i'm fed and last night was last night
