In that case with the amount of porn you obviously go on to get that many viruses, I would pay for a good package

AVG isn't free now.... you can only have free for a trial period of 30 days.

I use AVAST, thats very good and free.

agreed. norton "the pc fucker" anti-virus is the spawn of satan. Plus when you remove it, it probably wont come off in one piece so google for a tool called SYMNRT.exe (its on symantecs site) that removes any bits it leaves behind after you've ditched it from add/remove programs

McAfee AVD Enterprise all the way for me

I recently ditched Norton, soon as I put AVG on it picked up 5 files straight away that Norton was happy to ignore!
Also sped up the pc a fair bit too

Default NOD32

Hi Mate,

Norton isn’t worth renewing

1) It’s a drain on systems resources

2) Doesn’t stop as many viruses as it claims, it flags everything up as a virus.

3) Tons of viruses bypass Norton

My suggestion is to download NOD32. It has won tons of industry awards and works like a dream. There is even a 30 day free trail on the website:

http://www.eset.com/

With Norton I had to rebuild my PC every two months, ever since installing NOD my PC has run faultless for 7 months.

NOD is highly recommended.

Hope this helps

Kind regards
Pete

as said already.... AVAST all the way. No problems at all in the six months or so I've been using it.

Norton = SHIT.

Ditched Norton today as it's auto-protect feature intermittently refused to automatically turn on at startup, even after a re-install.

Now on Avast! and much better for it. cheers.
