Default at what age did you buy your first home

was just wondering as someone just mentioned that the average age of first time buyers is 30

just seems mad really, as say a 30 year morgage would me you would be 60 before its all paid off

my parents bought at 20, but these days pretty un-heard of I guess..

just interested to know

I bought my 1st house at 22, Three bedroom detahced with 2.25acres of land, now worth aprox twice what I paid for it 4 years age

I'm now looking at moving or building a brand new 3,ooo sq foot dormer.!!

Oh i would love to put a depoist down on the new Devlopment where Toys' R us used to be. But agian think might be bit expensive, and im not in the position to buy for a year yet. Deffo would love to buy an apartment in the city though. Its the way forward

I was 24 when i bought mine, a 2 bed semi bought at a perfect time, before prices went MAD, split up with gf of 9 years, two months after buying it, (I MUST BE BAD) HA HA, i struggled but kept it, now a totally different house and perfect as i wanted, all finished now, 3 bed, double garage, conservatory with amazing back garden and decked area, lot of hard work though, mortgage finished when im 49!

Was a 3 bed link detatched with a garage.

Now got a 4 bed detatched with a double garage.

Was gonna buy at 25 but had to move down south for the job and houseprices down here are a fuckin joke. Im considering saving to buy a place back home and rent it out!
