just sent my naughty little girl to bed over a hour ago,,,, she accepted and all was well,,,,,, just heard her stereo turn on in her room to find her DRESSED, tv on and now shes listening to her stereo ( the volume grassed her up)

ive got 4 daughters ginge, and its the same in this house, 1 is asleep, the baby's in her cot awake, and the other 2 are up stairs doing there best beyonce impression.

why has she got a tv and a stereo in her room ffs? seems like you dug your own grave there! my eldest is 6 and i know if she had a stereo or anything in her room, that she'd play with it after she'd gone to bed!

fiddy... actions work, trust me. threaten to take the things away that mean the most to them (their favourite toys, etc.), if they don't listen, do the fucker and don't give them back for a week!

Enjoy them while they are young it only gets worse. mine are 29 & 27 my daughter has broken up with her boyfriend & believe its a real trauma for us all . My son is getting the 'commitment' treatment from his girlfriend when all he is interested in is cars, another break-up on the way I fear .

3 yr old with TV and Stereo in there room... ffs......why ?

I was pissed when my missus put a bedside light up for our (3 yr old) to switch on and off all the time. Becomes a bit of a joke when there likely to have games consoles in by 5 yr old. How are kids ever to get the sleep they require then become troublesome, i blame the parents (wait for backlash ).

well i thought i had it sussed! put the kids to bed at 8 and went downstairs... they're usually asleep by 8.30 anyway, but at about 8.45 we came upstairs to go on ebay...

i hear a squeak from the room nent door from littlen like she'd just hurt herself, so i go in and find the eldest (6) has somehow climbed into her cot and is almost kneeling on her! "what the hell are you doing?!?!?!?!" i asked, "just making sur she has the cover on her" she replies. i dragged her out of the cot and threw her back on her bed and she dodn't seem phased even though i shouted at her at the top of my voice! i seriously almost slapped her round the back of the legs or something and i've NEVER done that before.

so for punishment her game boy is being taken off her... possibly along with all the rest of her toys if i'm still mad tomorrow! she will fucking learn!

but to be honest the tv and stereo etc etc never bothered her when shes sent to bed you usually hear her messing with the window or opening the cupboards....

i dont have any children but i work with 2-3year olds in a nursery and the things they come out with is great! i dont agree with young children having dvds an stereos in their bedroom but thats just my personal opinion. i cant wait to have children must say though from experience would much rather have boys! girls seem sooo independent and are little madams....
