Hi,
Are they any good? Looks like they use windows, wifi, touch screen, and a built in gps receiver. Its upgrade time for me, I was going to stick to Nokia but theres not many nice ones on T-Mobile. Is the E61 better than the MDA phones?
Thanks

Thanking you for the reply!
I'm not up to date on all these long words so what on earth does HPDSA mean?
I like the features they offer. These MDA ones do look very nice and flash.
Any idea what the MDA Compact III is like?
That S6 must go!

HPDSA or what ever it is, is an extention of 3g, basically 3.5g, currenty on t-mob where you can get it its limited to 1.8Mbps, soon to be 3.6, on your mobile!
a web and walk add on £7.50 is a must thats all the data cost you'll pay per month, dunno about the compact, like the vario's as they aint too big, but have a full keyboard that slid out
its an S4
the vario 1 , mine,

HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access)- what Fil said, lol.
The one with built in GPS is cool if you need a built-in receiver, but expect it to eat battery life when used, personally I'll stick with my Bluetooth receiver (but then I've already got one). It's a bit smaller then the others, but has no slide out keyboard (if that matters to you).
The MDA series are good if you want mobile PC features, although Nokia will be fighting back with some good phones in the near future, after being a bit 'out of the game' (imo) for the past couple of years.

I have one like phil, and my screen has failed twice, although they still have to take it away from you to assess this. They also have said it is the "software" which i dispute as the screen just goes white and then swithces off.
