Jon, did you RST run an oil cooler?
Have heard that after a bit of a bashing on track the oil gets sooo hot that it thins out and can pass through the engine and be burnt, maybe this was the case if no oil cooler is fitted?
The last track day i did @ bedford this was the case for mine. from the afternoon onwards about 10 mins into every session it started small puffs of smoke out and i can only put it down to the oil getting too hot.
I drove it home at normal speeds and it didnt smoke then and hasnt smoked at all since.

ah well we will see, I think he said he was taking the engine out before trax to check out a small oil leak from the oil pressure guage sender.
Car looks good, looks like he's taken the meshing out of the bumper and had the bumper/bonnet sprayed. He's also moved the wiper. I think it looks good there
Karl - No oil cooler on the car. Car was never setup for track at all. Had standard shock and PI -25mm springs. If it was my old car, lets hope it's just as AndyRST said, new oil and everything ok. I wanna see a 1/4mile and top speed result from it!
Cheers for the pic matt!
I'll checkout the video when it's sent over and see.

couldn't really tell. Looks like my old car but not sure. I'll post the link on here tonight.
I noticed Andy was on earlier, no mention of anything.

she's allright, the exhaust pops were cos I only had 1/4 tank of fuel, and the smoke was the oil catch tank overflowing, not a problem , it wasn't set up right for the track but was still fun, got my new suspension and brakes on now, I love this car!!Cheers Jon, I know it's hard selling a car, especially a modded one in case it breaks, but she's cool and going through a bit of a rebuild at the mo!!!

pmsl you mean my wifes "pret a manger lime drink bottle" catch tank
I thought youd do the suspension, that was next on my list!
Glad all is ok, can't wait to see results from it and I'm really pleased your happy and enjoying it.
Sorry mate for the delay on the bonnet vents, been looking after the wife. I gave them to my mum tonight to post.
