Ive got a qtek 4040, xda-Exec, SPV M5000, mda-IV, imate 2005 (all the same thing just having different names on different networks) its a crossbreed pda/phone and as such it was easy to set up
Its also got email, MSN, web, wireless internet and a real keyboard... I would look at the XDA mini... many of the phones have a screen thats to small to be of real use as a real sat nav imho

XDA Orbit.
PhilM got one the other week and can't get him off it now
If it's as exciting to you as him it has a little rollerball so you can use it as a mouse...
They even send you a car cradle and copilot sat nav free with it (which he binned for TT6)

I got N73 with tomtom 6, I got software free and paid Ł40 odd for the bluetooth gps. Can get cheaper ones but i went for one that had more channels. I would recommend it. I can forward on the software if you like.

UM - UMTS/HSDPA would be nice, and a genuine, unlimited data plan (which includes VoIP ) - sometimes wish I lived in Finland..... I remember when Orange used to lead the way when it came to such things in the UK
I've got the Orange SPV M3100 'version', very good piece of kit, imo.

I think you mentioned the web 'n' walk to me before Fil, but I want a real unlimited data plan - if I take that and use VoIP (and it will get hammered) they will curtail my usage and then I'm stuck on a useless (to me) contract
The plans are mostly aimed at mobile surfing, which isn't my main priority.

As Katie mentioned,
O2 XDA Orbit, its awesome, smaller than the MiniS aswell , though it does lack the QWERTY keyboard.
Quadband, Built in GPS reciever (best bit! - no need for a bluetooth one), Wifi, Bluetooth, 2MP Camera.
Comes bundled with the CoPilot software on CD, and a 256mb MicroSD card, also comes with car charger and Windscreen cradle for it
