Default Anyone live in or near Hull?

I need to collect a motorbike from the east side of Hull
I’ll be travelling up from the Milton Keynes area (M1) to Hull, but what roads should I take to get there?
Looking at a map I see two options of either
M1 - M18 – M180 ...
Or
M1 - M18 – M62 ...
I think that’s right lol

Is there a toll if I use the M180 root?

Hi mate,

I would go M1 -> M18 -> M62.

If you use the M180 you'll have to come over the humber bridge & pay £2.70 (if you're in a car)

I would think the routes would be around the same distance too so you wouldn't gain anything by coming over the Humber bridge

HTH

Cheers, M1 -> M18 -> M62 it is then, esp as I'll prob be in a van.
Just didn't know the name of that bridge lol

M180 is deserted, M62 can be busy, i know which way i'd go, and at least u will have gone over the longest suspension bridge in Europe.

Wynn,

I live in hull. but i dont own a motor bike LOL

i would do

M1
M18
M62 (which takes you to A63)

M180 takes you into Lincolnshire, and you dont want to be going there!

plus going over the bridge with a trailor is more expensive.
