why do people claim massive horsepower figs when the car never performs..



i saw this car at crail and on track at knockhill...

also spoke to the guy and he has no clue about the car even tho he claims to build and map it himself.

saw it lined up against a well know 612 bhp escort and the 802 one just couldnt catch it...wonder why?

saw it up the straight at KH and looked very tame compared to another well known 500 bhp escort.

i also heard that the car was no where as powewrful or as fast as
what this guy claims.

iv'e never actually seen the car for myself tho.

he told me it runs 12:1 comp ratio aswell or something silly like that..

Andy_R and i were talking to him a few times at crail and could tell us very little about the engine..

if you had just build a 800 bhp YB yourself and then mapped it yourself surely you would know the engine inside out

it looked like it was 550 tops at crail and looked about 400 at knockhill

this car was not much faster than a 330bhp escort cosworth in full road trim at crail are the numbers not the wrong way round 208bhp

he came and asked ma mate if his car was 500bhp, and my mate says no greens with full interior etc and he was just over a second faster
