erm firstly has anyone got any info on the ahmed bayjoo stage 1 chip for the ERST? i know it take the boost limit up to 1 bar but does it adjust anything else?

and secondly kind of depends on the above qu. but can i just switch the ecu's over, fire it up and it will run the same as before correct? just play with the actuator then to raise the boost?


any other things to bear in mind? (planning on running 12psi to begin with and get an ACT guage in there)

ps. forgot to add will obviously be tuned again when the boost is raised!

12 psi should be fine as you are still on the stranded intercooler You should be ok to swap over the ecu’s, but you may have to make some adjustment to the ignition timing
The fuelling will need to be setup or you could risk melt down :cry

also Lemons of here gave me an amal valve with the ecu and said it was modified in some way (he got it with the chip) anyone know ought about this?

Mines bypassed anyway so...!?

The amal valve has most likely been jetted, i.e. the restrictors have had their internal diameters tweaked to set boost levels correctly without over adjusting the actuator.
