Well its in bits... again....

After all the shit I've gone through with this car, owning it but never having it on the road, tosspot garages, blow-ups, blood sweat and tears, ££££'s spent, I've decided its gotta go.
Engines goin to someone who knows what their doin and will make an appearance in the track Festa!
Took it all to bits this weekend and wanted to see the internals with me own eyes, it has still got the RS200 cosworth pistons ARP bolts etc.. but the rods look like standard ones items to me??? rather than the wrc focus ones dipshit @ BSW recon'd he put in.
600 sheets worth of steel rods not in their then. 
Can someone confirm?? Valves have deffo met pistons when the middle tensioner sheered last week. No.4 is worst and you can feel a slight indent in the piston, will this cause any probs or will the pistons need a slight skim??Pretty sad day but fuck it gotta move on, its gonna make someone with a decent RST a good lookin mota if they can be arsed to swap everthin over.

Soz about the amount of engine shots, jus need someone to confirm there standard rods?

Fuck the neighbours the moanin bastids! I'll wait till they complain about the oil then jet it off in a month or so!
Gus mate, ure not kiddin dude. The nobend helped the ease of gettin it out though, 1 bolt where theres meant to be three or four made it light work.
How much do ya recon the shell with full kit be worth?? Sellin interior, wheels, st170 brake set-up and AVO's seperate.

Agree. Very mean looking shell. Dunno if your desperate for cash if not just put it in the garage till you have some spare cash or your no longer pissed off with it.

Mine has been a dog since I had her, I only bought her due to the condition of the body work. been off road for 4 years and unfortunatly it shows one thing after another.

Just stick a normal 1.8 zetec lump in it for a bit, and get someone decent to rebuild the turbo lump!!!!!

Really feel for ya. As the guys say - it's a lovely looking motor - stick a simple zetec 1.8 in, do 5000 miles of trouble free motoring, and you'll fall in love with it again.

I'll wait till they complain about the oil then jet it off in a month or so! it didn't for me and i got the same kind of drive, took loads of clumps out of the drive mind, but no oil Best bet is forget about the car for a week, go out get totally wrecked, get the bint to give you lashings of sex, and then go back to the car with a fresh

I cant be arsed to go through it all again mate. With a normalish engine it'd be slow n borin, and I cant justify puttin owt decent in it cus of the cost.
Jus wanna try n find out what the shell would be worth. Recon I need to become a gold member aswell to flog the rest of it.
