Good video that!!!
Sorry mate, but if you think that a standard Type R handling/chassis setup is not better than a standard Cossie handling/chassis setup you may be very much mistaken. The scoob is a much more balanced car out of the box.
Not sure what you mean by active this and active that. Yeah it would of had an electronic centre diff, but all that is manual on those scoobs and certainly not dynamically active.
As regards to the 1/2m..... you would hardly expect a scoob with over 100bhp less to beat Mark's Escort would you.
What do you think would win down the 1/4 out of a 400bhp Cossie and 400bhp Scoob now then! I know of one Classic shaped Scoob that already runs in the high 11's with only 350bhp! Even my lardy arsed Newage acheived a 12.5s 1/4 on a cold drag strip with cold road legal slicks on and a paltry 370-380bhp.

Mark hardly had the chance to use his power advantage as the course was kind of set up for handling and still he won by a huge margin. If they had pitched the Cossy and Scooby down the runway, the Scooby would have been seriously embarrassed.
