Does anyone know any good clubs in the Bromley area on a Saturday night?
House, garage, oldskool sorta stuff (or maybe hard house ) would be ideal. Not too keen on going to Croydon cuz we'll get stabbed and shot!
I shall be driving there (not drinking) just to make this post car related

Not any good ones. Jasmins is the best of a bad bunch and even thats pretty poor!

Haven't been out in Bromley for a good few years so may have all improved but doubt it. Bibas (not sure if spelt correctly) is tiny inside and shite. Never been in Delarnos but heard its shite. Only place I used to go was Jamines and that was rubbish as well!

I used to go there about 15 years ago when at college. Was great back then but not sure whats it like now. Was quite gothy back then. Had three or four floors all playing different music.

All places in bromley are just lively bars, shut at bout 11. Maybe try amadeous? But even that is quite rough. Or a few in maidstone.

Jasmins is crap, was there the other week and its very very small, about the size of my living room, lol

also was at the venue last weekend and thats a good place never seem to have any trouble there

also like RSOrion says theres amadangerous full of young underage kids so if u fail to pull a 18 year old grap two 9 year olds

maidstone is good for a night out strawberry moons etc

Just to add, love the Venue but I def don't think its for your tastes in music, wouldn't drive there either, been there done that

Thanks for the replies. Been to Amadeus a few times and like everyone here said it is a bit of a kids place. Its full of attitude too! Last time I was there someone was dragged out by the bouncers and happened to go past me and spat bloody blood on my shirt and face!
I feel sorry for that poor black man in the toilets selling aftershave and condoms!
Only been there on Saturdays but its just the same music every week.
Maidstone's an option....any names?

Amadeus is officially wank. 5 or 6 years ago it would pull it decent DJs but now its just a cheap place to get pissed up.

Maidstone isn't great but has some nice bars such as banks, ethos, ME1, the source bar, the river bar, and has a couple of clubs. Avoid Ikon like the plague. The loft needs air conditioning and is full of pill heads and moons is good for eye candy, but the doorman think they are the bollocks and the queues can be horrendous.

Ashfords pretty good, M20 used to be a top club until it closed Now its just Liquid in the town centre.

Upstairs is the dong, downstairs is good if your slightly older...... like me

You'll be surprised with Croydon now, i know i was Went there just before xmas and really ejoyed the bars in town.

Now the Venue...... I have to put that place down on my monthly expenditure i'm there so much

All depends on a variety of factors, your age, what mucic you like, if your single and how far you wanna travel

When I/we goto Ashford, we tend to stay in a traveloge or travel inn for the night

Oh and Amadeus is now owned by Arron Stone who also owns the Circus Tavern in Purfleet and the Casino Rooms in Rochester. He did also own De Ja Vu in Swanley, but thats been shut a while now.

Forget that and goto either the Bridge Bar or if ya wanna shake ya tail feather goto Bar Flux. Theres a dance floor downstairs and its funky house, R'n'B & classic dance on a Saturday night

M20 closed because of drug problems, but I thought it was shoite to be honest. It wasn't a proper club, just a full on cheese fest full to the brim with Kent country bumpkins!

Best place in Bromley is Walkabout. Went Jasmines the other week and it's not too bad. The whole place is full of 16 year olds as said above.

Hello,
I went out in Bromley on Saturday...Started in some pub near the cinema then to this bar called Sky bar I think, Then into Jasmins...It is very small isn't it It wasn't really full of young people, one or two milfs as well! Music wasn't too bad, mostly funky house then some rather nasty RnB. They only have cd decks there
It was a good night though so thanks for the recomendations
