I've been getting bit bored of just looking at my engine in the garage so I felt it was time to strip a few parts off it and clean them up later this week with the sandblaster.
When I originally got the engine I was told the cylinder head had been ported, I wasn't that bothered if it had or not but it would be handy if they had been.
So with the inlet off I found this :

They do look like something has been done but I have nothing to compare them too.
My other issue is that the engine has stood for 2 years now, its been turned over occasionally but I'm thinking of just pulling it to bits for inspection.
I'd much rather just fit the new pulleys and cambelt andleave it alone to save a few quid but not sure if its worth risking it.
