Could someone please tell me in what order the injectors go.. ie, which colour is the smallest and the largest and what they are capable of flowing..

This is a list for cossies

Yellow = standard 2wd
Dark Blue = standard 4x4
Light Green
Dark Green 803s
Light Blues 400s
Grey 403s

what are the black ones in a small turbo equivalent too from that list?

i wanted to put green 803s in mine but i cant apparently as the eec iv wont run bosch injectors????

im nto too sure what injectors are in a small turbo,, even if you cant run bosch low impedance injectors im sure there many other injectors in the right frame size to use!

 

IIRC Stu @ MSD knows of a set of larger injectors that go in the Cosworth EEC stuff but I don't think he has ever developed a map to suit them.

 

I am currently in the progress of trying to get my golf mapped and the injectors that were in there before were cossie yellows.. these were at 98% of their duty at 5k and the mapper told the guy i have just bought the car off to fit bigger injectors and he has fitted greens.. was just wondering if this was the next stage or if there were ones in between.....

yes mate 803s (dark greens) are the way forward for ya! the only flow rate i know is 403s(greys) and thats 504cc/min

 

someones selling second hand grays in the cossie section,,, buy and sorted

 

thanks Gareth!! my injectors have a sort of green washer near the end of the them which ive not noticed before until today......so i have 4 greens only washers not injectors
