I think im gonna stay with the RS as running/repairing costs for the scooby are more than what it costs me to run the RS As for the kids in the street im gonna ban then from my side of the pavement, and build a garage in the street

Still dont know what to do, the reason i dont know what to do with my RS is that its parked in the street with school kids running up and down, and i dont live in the best area.
You're right about the area though. Stafford isn't the ideal place for a nice RST to be parked out on the street.

keep the S2...Much nicer car
the import scoobys don't come with the rally jacket, umbrella, wrc sticker pack and manual in english teaching you how to impersonate Colin McRae..
what good is scooby without the how to pretend your a rally driver manual

Deffo keep the RS, Scoobies aren't worth a wet fart. Mates really clen 93WRX with AP's, front mount, adjustable suspension sold for just over Ł3000. Another friend has even managed to pick one up for just Ł1600 a couple of summers back and it was fine bar being a bit grubby.

And if you want good mpg, buy a diesel Not being able to have you cake and eat it is a phrase that springs to mind

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Its a tricky one this because your asking on a ford site so most answers you will get are from ford lovers so not really a fair question.
Value wise i would'nt swap as the S2 is going up in price and Imprezas dropping fast not to mention Imprezas are hard to sell on because theres so many to choose from.
Ive just sold my 97 turbo uk car. It was great fun to drive, quick and handled well and i do miss the AWD im now driving a fwd FTO which is nicer to drive and cost less in fuel.
Fuel wise i had the lowest powered impreza turbo with only 208bhp and it was shit on petrol. allways filling the fucker up.
If i were you id go drive it and see what you think. Ignore other peoples opinions and make your own mind up because you will be the one driving it.
One thing though if you get one you will hear the word Chav alot.
