I have just bought a Mondeo Estate Automatic 2.0 with a knackered engine and am wanting to swap it. Are the manual engines the same as the automatic just with different fittings?

yes swop the flywheel and torque convertor over and you will be fine.

and the sensor near the flywheel is diff on a manual and auto. i cant remember what its called thou!

i got a mondeo auto engine in boot of my car that i bought on ebay by mistake if you want it

i thought it was a blacktop but the bloke just put black top cover on it to make it look like focus/new mondeo engine

send me pm if you want it because i want it out of my boot of my xr2i asap lol

aparently its had recent rebuild from previous owner and no oil leaks and has black top cover on it

sorry if this is advertising but its in my boot and have no where to put it and needs to go to new home because it cant live in the back of my fiesta anymore
