Learn a million times more if its dry, seriously.
Tho you need some wet experience as its a whole different (and slow, and wank) ballgame in the wet.
Main thing to learn fast with drifting is NEVER blame the car, learn to work around the cars faults, as no matter how good you make the car, your always on the limits if your drifting, so need to be able to adapt the driving around the understeer, or oversteer, or too much grip, or lack of grip, or lack of lock, or whatever.

i have only ever drifted propperly in the wet, not really had chance int he dry as i was on the public roads lol
but on thursday night i was bored so went out int he sierra and gave it some shit - the extra front end grip is unbelivable! its far easier to do in the dry than the wet lol, although i did have a minor spin lol....
on one of the biggest and busiest roundabouts in swindon, just off the M4
i got about a 3rd round and decided to give it billy big balls and go for more angle lol....
