This is the internal building that Dan failed to see and drove into, the one in front of my car in this picture:
Its about 20ft wide and 40ft deep (ie 800 square feet of building) and he drove into it on the corner where he could see it both width and length ways
You are right about tidying up your driving though, I thought you were doing really fucking well in there until that bit.
To be fair, what actually happened was he did a large burnout, with his foot on the foot brake to hold it in place, just in front of the building, then he took his foot off the accelerator to stop the burnout and let up the footbrake, when he did so he didnt realise how much the rears were still spinning, they gripped on the mega sticky bit of floor at that point and launched him forward, and as most people who have drive with a locked diff will know, it just ploughs on and understeers in circumstances like that, so there wasnt a lot he could do once he got to that point.
There was plenty I could do though, such as piss myself laughing, so i did

well the good news is that despite my vigourous attempts, the diff still appears to be in one piece!
Sadly my wifes patience dropped to zero when it rained, and my car was no longer allowed (by me) to play.
Good fun (albeit brief) - but I would only do again with some proper shit rear tyres! The yokis were a little too grippy for my liking. Certainly a masterclass in how to make my car understeer under power!!!
Well organised chip - lets do again soon!!

Could be, but I doubt it - they are only about 3months old! I will check that though.
I truly have no idea - could be brake related - the handbrake cable is totally fucked.
Photos look great mate - can I get a copy off you for times sake?

It was nice to meet you Dan, and thanks again for the offer of tools etc, very kind.
I have to say that I hate it when the noises come from the back axle - there is rarely anything I can do about it without major effort.
The orange sierra looked like fun!

Stavros - I quite like your slow drift round the cone matey - top effort!

It was a harsh day conditions wise, it proved a cossie isnt the thing for drifting, but Phil did a better job of overcoming that than anyone else did, is that a fair summary?

I had fun - but had no talent or skill
To me it was just a laugh - I wasn't there to be DK or owt!
The BMW had good grip for the conditions, but still understeered. Fingers crossed it will be dry on the 4th Feb!
I had more fun just hanging the back out, donuting, spinning and driving round with a grin on my face!
Dan's Sierra was ACE, much thanks for letting me drive it - it was the biggest laugh in a car I've had in months.
Stavros's Volvo DRIFT CAR!!!:
And Phill:
And the Drift arena:

Someone good at it, in any of the cars, wouldve done just fine, and although you dont seem to think so, IMO the Cossies wouldve been the best, even with their gay diffs.
(Actually, the M3 would be as its got a fairly decent plated diff and better grip)
Fact is, we all shit

all it is is a rev limiter that cuts spark instead of fuel, im sure you could make one yourself tbh for alot cheaper than £150
