Default Question regarding bank transfers? ASAP

Some guy who has bought some items off me on ebay would like to pay via depsoiting the money into my bank account. is this safe and what info should i give out?

anyhelp needed!

Account No. and sort code. hem same details you would give out if you were giving somebody else a cheque. Safe IMO

as mentioned, account number and sort code. done loads of them, bith ways and never had an issue

Just make sure it is cleared funds. If they pay in a cheque it will in some instances show up on you account balance even if it is not clear.

My company got taken for £70k a few years ago by somebody doing the above. If it were me, i'd call the bank just to verify it is cleared funds just to make sure you don't get any hassle.

ive accepted payment on ebay for a couple of things the same way, never had any probs.

Alot of cheques are part of your debit card I belive to stop this happening now
